Interwebs claim that people who didn't like Oblivion should give F3 a try since it's different. Equally huge but different in terms of gameplay. There are more interesting things IMO so I won't pick it up. I preordered MKvsDC, C&C:RA3 (PC), Mirror's Edge, PoP and TR:U. I'll get Fable 2 and GoW2 as well. Now, where can I buy some free time? ;D

Notice how I didn't bold WoW, which means I'll probably wait a long time before trying it.

I'm only cautious about Fallout 3 because I've seen lots of demos (including all the ones at PAX), but the demos never have much substance. They usually amount to "oh look at our fancy targeting system."

I hope it isn't like Oblivion, because Oblivion had really broken gameplay and repetitive voice-overs.

WoW:WotLK? Seriously, you play WoW these days? As for the F3 - seems to be more Mad Max-ish/Fallout-ish than Oblivion-ish. Not being the biggest Ob fan I think that's good for the game.

I've been following the Fallout 3 coverage on No Mutants Allowed since Bethesda got the license. I think it'll be a great game; that may be different from 'meeting expectations' for a lot of the Fallout fan community.

Long time no see, Andrew. How are things going? There's a cool geek get-together in Cambridge this Friday, if you want to come.
